What actually should I do?

I have completed my graduation on EEE and worked as long as 3+ years in telecommunication sectors. But I had a fascination of learning java from my childhood but never got chance. At the mean time, I gave up the job and started learning java for 1 year but it seems to me very hard. I can't go back but I really cant understand that I will be successful or not. I want to be an android developer. can anyone please help me out suggesting what I should do now (I just become 30+ years older).

Is Java the first object oriented language you’ve learned? If so, of course it’s hard starting out, you’re learning a ton of new concepts. You will get it eventually though.
