What is the defferent between html and html5?

HTML5 has new tags and attributes that prior version lack, such as <video> and <audio>, variations of <div>, canvasses and animations, etc.
Some older browsers do not support HTML5 or some of its features, so fallbacks need to be put in place if your page uses them.

HTML5 is also better for SEO because it clears the work flow of the page and certain elements can be understood just like rich data /rdf.

Also great in terms of look and feel, draggable objects and animations. HTML5 is nice for webforms since it includes new behaviors and smarter validation compared to the old sprite validation which was css driven. HTML5+PHP libraries such as pear or phpmailer are life savers for webforms :)

html5 I think,because it is great in video, in audio and it has lots of other tags whitch html doesn't have but html has images whitch html5 doesn't have.so it mettets what you are going to do.
