Keerttik Titan , some of the reasons why Sololearners with the most XP like HTML can also be found in the following related thread:

HTML is not a programming language (no complicated logic). This allows HTML folks to challenge others faster and massively, with the chance of getting correct answers being very high.
The web package (HTML, CSS, JS) is visually attractive to many than a plain black and white console output with no interaction at all after they ran the program.

The challenge of HTML is more simple than other programming languages .😊 there is no complicated logic there for it is easy to solve 🤕. because the challengers get more XP and they become highest rated users 😍.

Reasons:-
1.html is more visually it make empact on person watching the function while other languages are logic based or backend you can't understand their beauty just by glance you have to code it to understand its charm
2.many module are missing for higher languages for example pygame turtle .this stop programmers from showing their true capabilities.
3.it ask for all input at once and if person is unaware of that language he will enter wrong value causing error and will think that thei is error in programme leading to bad impact.

HTML is scripting/Mark-Up language.
It might be because it's an easier language to ease into than with others, besides the visual part similar to how Visual Basic is more drag-and-drop creation with programming.

I think that lots of people just like the Visual aspect of it. its easy to see, and fun. where as i feel like other users are underappreciated. some people have amazing codes in cpp, or python, but those languages just dont appeal to many users. i still totally respect all the time web users invest, yet i just wish that the language itself wouldnt affect peoples interest.

Sololearn (sort of involuntarily?) encourages the web design aspect because it's pretty and interactive while in other languages you get plain text in combination with the dreadful cram input.
