Usually the programs that people love are large multi-modular and multi-component programs. These are created by teams, not single people unless that one person is ungodly dedicated. Usually you hear about the company that made these programs, but not actually the people who developed them as a team.

Besides what Default has mentioned, lots of programs are only used internally by corporates and businesses, and others are small tools that can be very specifically targeted. Default Terry Davis (recently deceased) made TempleOS 100% by himself, a true legend. But yeah, usually it's teams that make the most commonly used software

David Dung, because we also need programs that just do a job very well, like steering a machine, manage data or whatever. For purely practical purposes the love of people for these programs is not necessary. Or are you talking about SoloLearn specifically?
