Looking for some feedback on tips to help to retain the vast amounts of information covered in a given language

Currently working thru 4 seperate JS courses (fcc, sololearn, Grasshopper, and khan academy, and soon to be class central as well) hoping to really start absorbing the info by covering it from multiple angles. What are some methods you guys employ to assist in retaining the material?

I agree with Coder Kitten 100%. Also, I don't think its a good idea to learn from multiple sources at the same time. Some tutorials may teach you es 10 syntax while others teaach es6. Learning the two together will only confuse you.
