Is it necessary to learn max. languages to be a good programmer.if i work hard only in c language then can i become a programmer

It's not necessary, because programming languages can be thought out as normal languages.
Learning a language requires knowing its grammatical constructs, word order, syntax, an so forth. But speaking a language and using it to go through daily life is an entirely different matter: another set of skills is needed to talk to other people, understand their culture, be aware of their customs, etc.
Programming languages are the same. The most important thing you'll want to learn is how to express a real-life problem in terms that a computer can understand: that is, turning a few paragraphs describing a problem into a computer algorithm that can be expressed using any language of choice.
You can choose any language to start practicing and feel comfortable with it, and you can always switch to another language when you see fit. But never forget the core of all programming languages is a well thought algorithm.
