@LovepreetKaur, its NOT compulsive to decare a variable first.
A Variable is needed when input number is different, i.e, when you need to add any two numbers that are specifies by the user.

I think it´s easier in bigger tasks with many numbers if every number is declared to a variable.
Let´s say you have 29847, 37829, 4872938,... and so on.
You just have to type the variable of each number instead of doublechecking each number if there is no mistake.
