Musab Emre Deniz I would only learn a new language in 2 cases :- 1) if a project wants me to learn it 2) I am extramly interested in it.

learning C (basics atleast) will teach you: * the low level of the computational model (memory, compiler, etc) * set basis to learn other C-family langs (C++, C#, Java)

Not necessarily. Learning a language that is made by C like python or Ruby doesn't require that you to learn C. You don't need to own a farm or learn how to grow your own crops if you're a chef. Python and Ruby are the ingredients you use to cook. C is growing the crops and getting the meat. You could learn to do both, but there would be no use unless it is required by some way as if your new job requires it or maybe you want to show off being a multilingual person to your friends

It depends on your career path If you want to create device drivers or want to be a system programmer definitely yes but if you want to be a UI/UX programmer that's not a good choice
