umm easy and most useful.... Loops, arrays, and classes. Master how to use those properly and in differing ways.

The OP asks for something useful. The only good thing with hello world is that it gives a false feeling of language knowledge, which is enough to make you learn the language.

lol That moment when everyone answered incorrectly. :D What is your long term goals? For a beginner, you can't go wrong with Java or C#. They're relatively easy and will also make it easier for you to learn the other languages since their syntax is similar.

I recently made a simple DEC HEX BIN converter for my Windows XP machine because the built-in one neither shows all values at once nor does the conversion in real time like in Windows 10.
