Kotlin or Java or C#

Question

I have actually thought about all of those programming languages, and they look very similar, so similar that actually there is *ALMOST* no difference, I have already learned Java, but, I want to improve, there are alot coders and programmers use C# wich looks like java but they say that it's way smoother, and faster, and more awesome, I haven't met alot of people who like Kotlin, they say that they want to stick to the original (Java) instead, but some coders too say that it's a simplified version of java and it's better, so, what should I choose, and can I make an app with Kotlin and XML instead of Java and XML?(By the way, I have learned some of C# but I haven't even touched Kotlin, what should I do?)
