how do i get a developer console?

I couldn't find the developer console. I could only find the 32 bit version.

get a ide from a different company. I suggest pycharm by jet brains. they have a free version. and a paid developer version.

A console is an window that shows the outputs given to the console (either for debugging or console-based applications).
A developer/output console is the same thing but built into an IDE.
Your post worries me. There is no direct download for a "developer console". I'd recommend you do a virus scan and uninstall whatever you downloaded.
LONGTIE is correct, however. If your IDE does not have a developer console, you should really consider getting a different IDE.
