First of all – Welcome Newbie ;) If I were You, I would expect a lot of answers, cause it is a good question. Maybe not directly by SoloLearn, but I found a job (also) as Java developer. For me, it was kind of easier, because I had experience with different languages too, but I found Java questions to be very good as a starter. When I was a yellow freshman, even a simple challenge was very hard. Thanks to that, I was focused more on the important basics of a language. Have fun, code much, challenge me sometimes ;)

Friend of mine told me (Python), that for him it was easy to find summer camp, then he progressed to be intern, then hired as Junior. He was graduated, but not with studies related to CS, so it is a good sign for me :) thank You for answers so far!!!! :):):)

thank You Jay Charan LEo25 Saquib Imam Prabin Chandra Shrestha for feedback. Which language has the lowest "entry point" in Your opinion? :):) i started with HTML and CSS, but i believe it is must have rather than decent programming language :(

Prabin Chandra Shrestha - I agree. It might be difficult to pass any interview with knowledge solely from SL, but I tend to think it really gives You a solid base

Charan LEo25 no worries! Regarding job, it also depends on business domain. Sometimes it is easy to find a job, when domain requires less (simple calculations i.e). Junior position in my opinion is reachable :)

Saquib Imam it is not hard, but requires time to learn. Pick one mainstream language and learn 10 mins per day :) Then start coding simple things using robust IDE, GiT, some frameworks, add SQL and You are ready to go for the first interview! I wish You luck if You want to go that road :)!

I believe that SoloLearn does not hire best players :) question is more about searching for examples of people who started their IT career with (among other tools) SoloLearn

Charan LEo25 if I can ask - how long have You been programming as a professional and using which stack? I'm just curious and want to help Aleczka too :) (by making people proactive in this thread... maybe we should invite our best-question-friends hmm) PS: @Aleczka yes, that is actually good idea. Nowdays many companies seek for devs. In their interest is to "convert" You into developer :)

Daniel Fernandes You will always need HTML, CSS, SQL, some JS, be able to read UML - so in general, good news for You :) for backend core - it is time consuming to know and master language, so at some point You have to pick one (at least for a starter).
