You can go with either Atom or Sublime editor.

Depends on where you want to only edit code, or you want to compile and run it as well.

If you only want to edit then Atom and Sublime Text are nice code editors, lightweight as will.

If you also want to run your code, you may go for Visual Studio, or Netbeans or Eclipse, etc.
