as Yesh Jadav said it depends on the game you are making I don't know much c /c++ but I know that they have a lot of similarities with c# which is one that is easy to grasp and learn I personally like c# with unity which is a great combination
when it comes to game development

it depends on the game which you are making it may be c or c++ language but I prefer c or c++ bcoz its easy to understand ....its different thing that I have never tried c#...this post may be helpful for others to also keep their suggestions too

if I recall correctly it is a challenge which requires you to make a game with pre-specified genre in two days and the best game gets a reward
