There is a Mac version of the Visual Studio Code by Microsoft. You'll love it 😊.

José Ngoyi Thank you so much for the information, and your help with this. I didn't know that you can use Sublime that way, but hey if Visual Studio does everything I need. I guess there would be no need for Sublime.

José Ngoyi I downloaded Microsoft Visual Studio Code, on my MacBook last night! I haven't had a chance to check out all of the features just yet. I believe your right, I think I am going to love it. Best of all it was free. At this time I do not have the extra $80, for Sublime Text 3. Maybe I will check it out when I do.

José Ngoyi thanks for this list I really didn't know all of this but you can add extensions in ST which do most of the points you listed I think 🤔

Côme Schaeffer sorry it took awhile to get back to you on this. I usually write code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Java, and Python. I am currently learning to program with C++. I am also trying to get proficient in Java, and Python.

Andrew Faile ok then ST3 is perfect 👌👌

JULIEN ONEZIME, you better try Visual Studio Code. Sublime Text may have its special qualities but it is a little far from being the best editor (in my opinion).
I say that because I use both editors and I see that there are somethings that SText can't do yet. 😐

Côme Schaeffer, has Sublime Text these following features ?
- A debugger ;
- A color picker ;
- Clickable links ;
- A notifications UI ;
- Advanced editor decoration ;
- Copy/Paste files across windows ;
- Auto indent on type, move lines and paste ;
- Highlight unused variables, parameters, imports and function name ;
- Completely customizable (include window title, title bar, and menus) ;
- More functionalities for JavaScript and TypeScript like suggestion code actions ;
- Error and reference navigation across files (+ related information in errors and warnings) ;
- An improved autocompletion (include CSS support for new properties - CSS Data from Mozilla Developer Network) ;
- HTML and CSS path completion (Ability to create a file link by navigating through the folders until the file, on type) ;
- IntelliSense for predefined variables, extension search, character entities, etc (VS Code IntelliSense re-sorts suggestions as you type. This ensures that the most relevant suggestions are near the top) ;
- etc

I know that you can add extensions. But the question was that Sublime Text is not the best. Do not worry Côme Schaeffer , I like SText 😊
