actually it doesn't matter if you write " or ' there is only one reason when you should use one of them for example when you want to have ab"cd. as you string you can't use "" because then you assignment would look like that: "ab"cd" which makes no sense at all the solusion is to use ' 'ab"cd'

well, a string is a variable which can store text instead of the most basic one: integer which stores a number which language are you talking about?
