You will need to include a bit of your coding to help us understand what you need help with.
But strings in general, can be typed in any form. By 'form', I mean...

-You can include Normal Letters or Numbers
-Include Unicode/Global Symbols; $ £ % & , etc.
-But you can not use a backslash: if you want to, you need to 'escape' the backslash to make sure it doesn't 'escape' any of the text, eg: \\
