bootstrap or jquery? Which would you prefer?

Alright heres what I came up with. Do tell if I missed something. Up vote if you like this answer :) jQuery is like a rather general-purpose Javascript library that was designed to handle things related to DOM manipulation and events. While Bootstrap is a front-end framework that adds additional functionality to the applications and allows us to easily integrate concepts like Responsive Design into our applications. So Bootstrap itself actually depends on jQuery. Hence jquery should be preferred

jQuery.. :-) but, i suppose, both is the best answer.. depends of what has to be done..
