There's no short cut to get followers, users will follow you if they are attracted by your code bits, posts or on their mood!!

Answer questions for users. Write code bits. Post a few things in your feed. Over a long period of time your followers will grow. Don't get too excited about earning followers though. It's difficult to acquire a large number and the value is limited since this isn't really a social site.

I suppose you could write a script/bot to mass follow everyone who has posted on the forum, and their respective followers. A lot of people follow those who follow them back, so this would make you have many followers.
Although I don't see the point in that other than spam.
