Could you give me please some advices for a first programming interview?

For example what to do and what not to do, what kind of questions are more common, also what to do if you don't know how to resolve a programming exercise etc. etc.

You won't know ALL the answers and that's okay. Admit you dont know the answer but then say how you would begin to research or where you would look to find the answer

Be confident at the white board! Even if you find it hard to write actual code. Make sure to explain what you are doing and how you are going about it. Knowing what you are doing can be expressed vocally even if you mess up your board work. Ask questions to get specific details about what is asked of you. A lot of it is about watching you react under pressure. Be prepared to implement various search algorithm and maybe a container or two. Know what tech the company is using and have an idea about some of it at least.
