What do you prefer to use wix or wordpress.org? I recently decided to make a web store. I am leaning towards wordpress.org

wordpress or wix? anyone tried these tools?

Here, majority would prefer write from scratch, without this kind of tools, even if they could be useful: code builder for pleasure :P

Anyway, Wix and Wordpress are two different paradigms: with the second you keep som controls that you left with the first, wich will be usefull for totally newbie. Not tested Wix in real, but tested another one like, and get desesperate by heaviness of product code... Wix-like sites are perfect for mr and mrs everybody, but not to recommend to somebody with some web computer knowledge ;)

thanks visph, but im looking for personal preferences and reasons not general blanket statements. please answer if you've had experience with these tools.
