Typical time it takes to get a grasp of c++m

coding interests me but have no experience with it. just wondering typical length of time it would take to grasp it if I toy around every day for an hour or so

thanks man I understand that I will not master it but I just want to be decent enough to where I know what I'm doing ish and when people show me things I want to know what they are talking about and not look like a deer in head lights ha

this is my first language as well. my roommate recommended me to start with c++ because that's what most companies use.
