Why do simple codes generate more likes than complex codes?

@Gavin Christians Make a password generator; you might get lucky 😎

Simple codes are easier to understand.
However, if your code is cool to look at (e.g. an animation on a webpage), you'll get likes regardless of how complex it is.
Also getting your code Trending gets even more likes as that is the default filter when looking for codes.

One more suggestion: Make an unlimited mode where the speed keeps increasing until you miss one so people can compare scores. Right now, completing the insane mode perfectly will give everyone about 900 points 🍰

3 days to make this piece of... OH MY GAWD! IT'S FREAKING AMAZING! 🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰
Question: do the digletts go down earlier if I press them early?

keep in mind those codes are rather old and been around almost since the launch of the app.
so it is only natural that people upvoted them a lot at the time, and when new users came, all excited out of their wits, they simply upvoted those leading codes.
also by now the app seem to have quite some user base who upload new codes constantly, and i ain't seeing any new pass gen codes in the trending.

well, it seems the trend now is making *click something and then buy upgrade so you can click some more* games
go figure

Because coding isn't about complexity the simpler the code the lighter it gets and tougher to hack.

But seriously though, there's 3 password generators in the top 10 most popular codes and it frustrates the hell out of me 😂

@Burey my next code will be a game that loads quick, runs smoothly, allows players to get a challenge and will be fun. It will be more of a tapping game but you'll see how different it will be. Basically a very simple yet challenging game, which will make MPGC (Mediocre Password Generator Coders) and great coders appreciate my code. ;)

if this is a code you wrote with the sololearn platform, then i suggest you to re-save it and make public (if you have not done that already)
as the notification for your followers that you posted a new code is shown only at the time of the first save

My next major code will focus more on FUN and INTERESTING than COMPLEX and LOGIC. Thanks Jafca

@Jafca 😂😂😂😂

I guess @Burey but it's still disappointing because I really want to have code of the day too and be in top 10. But I'm not giving up yet, I'll make a simple but interesting code next and see how that goes. ;)

Give me 3 more days

@Jafca nope, they're timed and it's fixed. Your tapping only increases the variable that's responsible for increasing your score. But I'll make it more interactive, seeing you like the game :)
Thanks

Wow nice suggestions @Jafca, almost like an unlimited run mode in a running app game lol. I will definitely add that and the code of Burey for scoreboard. I will do this tomorrow since it's 00:34 here lol.

As promised, 3 days, here's the game I came up with https://code.sololearn.com/WQH84vmh6Ppx/?ref=app. There's still room for improvement ;)
