Is python friendly for data analysis?

it's good to know how well python supports data scientists than other open source software that's out there like R, orange, etc.

Very and truly yes :) Pandas, numpy and scipy libraries are every (future) data scientist's friends ;)

yes, but not really. Its easy to learn data analysing with python. but due to the slower process of the interpreter, you will need to master python a lot to cut down the time taken for the interpreting process.

Python is one of the best languages to make pretty graphs and other things, but don't even try to compute something efficiently with it
