What to learn next?

hello, ive started to work as an analyst in big company, i mostly work with excel & database .. so sql and vb & vba are a must for me and im quite good in those. But i would like to learn more in coding. Back in school years ago I worked with java and for some years i spent my time making websites with html, css. The question is where to go now... should i return to java, i already know the basics or persue python or C# becouse its closer to Vb wich i mastered?

Now as you are a novice developer it's time to develop softwares. You are much familiar with Java, I recommend you to please learn Java SE or FX and develop applications:-)

Ive been looking into C# and python, and C# seems like a logical choice, I already know how to work with visual studio and its similiar to Vb in some aspects.
