The certificate is signed by the sololearn founder, and it proves that you have completed a course.. Skills will be upgrading with time, it really has a big value, so of course you can add it to your resume!!!

No matter what the haters and negaters say, Sololearn certificates are valuable for following reasons:

<1> They prove that you have metacognitive skills, which means you are independently in charge of your learning. You can start, manage, monitor, organize, and continue your own learning without any need for supervision or guidance. <\1>

<2> They prove that you are fighter. Although you may not afford paid education, you do not give up and you take your interest up to the level of coding in a selftaught way. <\2>

I can list many more reasons. To sum up, keep up your hardwork. Your hardwork will eventually pay back.

I cant say alot, but the certs really boosted my confidence to a level that i even used them to acquire a job in an IT company. I guess they can still help somewhere

generally in your CV add the skill not the certificate
only few certificates are important to be added like some Network certificates ex. CCNA certificate or the professional certificates ex. pmp certificate .

actually,I think that in a CV is better place some info about your entire account as you are a member of this comunity.A some HR can take a look at your activity and also if your certificates are valid ;)

I think you are better off writing code based on what you learned. But you can 'combo' them, like here is my proof that I took the course and here is what i did with it. Shows you can apply knowledge.

From my personal experience, sololearn is a place to learn the basics of many programming languages. If you are interested in getting a job with this, I would "Taste Test" what language you think best suits you and be sure to research its applications as well in the real world because when you get into the more intermediate areas of the language you will soon realize it is proficient in some areas that many aren't, for example, C++ is very general and found in many many things including building games, python specialized in data science and machine learning (which can be a 6 figure job if you really want that money son.) Complete a course on here and take the certification because there are many places in the online world (and college) that make you fork tons of money for the basics and hardly teach you shit. It does help to a point but wont land you a job. Your next step would be to find an online course to teach you the intermediate and advanced stuff of the language (or what it specializes in)...........
