What is the right way to learn a new language?

I am a intern in php development.i just want to know that is it bad to watch a youtube video to see wts wrong in the code.what is the right way to learn a new language .

A new language is mostly just new syntax, all the previous knowledge in programming will still apply in whatever language you are looking into.

I believe that there is absolutely no issues with youtube videos. There are great tutors online and their knowledge will always be valuable, no matter where they share it.

I'd recomend you to spend some time to understand the differences with the language you already know. Get a little project idea and try to make it working in that language (could be a previous project too!)
