So is html a prerequisite for Java & python, I understand how css/possibly Ruby & = sql. Will build upon it

I am beginner. Should I learn Python or HTML I already started HTML weeks ago and almost through it. Should I switch to python now or wait until I finish HTML?

I assume you mean finishing the course here? You should just finish the HTML course. It doesn't take long and is always useful. But what you should think about is which language you really want to learn to code with first. It's good to learn multiple languages, but you should spend at least half a year on one language (for example, Python or JavaSript or Java) to get an an actual grasp of it.

Wed is made with HTML CSS JavaScript and php. SQL is used for databases. Java is a partially compiled crossplattform lenguage, witch can work with XML together. Python and Ruby are interpretated languages.
