Increasing ram

suppose we have 1gb of ram and our pc is using only 500 mb of if.

case 2
Now we install 2gb of ram with same speed . it still uses 500 mb .

in which case the performace will better.
case1 or case2

Unused RAM is wasted RAM. Most people talk of RAM capacity, but if you want better performance, the speed of the RAM is crucial.
