well, for one Americans are entrepreneurial; two, they are extremely material; and three, they have the best and most prestigious colleges and universities in the world like Harvard, MIT, and Berkeley that trains and spits out ambitious young men/women into bright new innovators constantly. They are tech magnets, attracting entrepreneurial, skilled, and ambitious immigrants from all over the world. Also, they have the capitals and government support to invest in these people's ideas.

"America" is a whole continent but you mean the US, right? I believe the US has been investing heavily in Research & Development (R&D) and also it has higher education institutions to keep developing a well educated workforce, skilled in science and engineering mostly. The US understands, depends on and supports technology intensive industries like high tech manufacturing and knowledge intensive services, specially because these industries account for nearly 40% of US GDP, I mean, its economic health (that's why other countries like China and South Korea are emulating its model and becoming powerful in these fields as well) I'm an economist, I hope this type of answer suits you haha 😅

I found this post which says it all pretty much https://www.google.ca/amp/s/amp.reddit.com/r/explainlikeimfive/comments/3e9jd4/eli5has_the_idea_that_the_military_is_decades/ Just to give an example, the neural net stuff that is now able to create self driving cars and learning machines has been depicted in several 80s scifi movies like Terminator and Total Recall. Where did the film directors get their ideas from ? Some say that certain movies are being made to psychologically prepare the population for the next technology and not experience what is called "future shock". I agree with that idea. Some of the things they possibly have; advanced nanotech weaponry, functionning quantum computers, anti-gravity vehicles (magnetic or not), zeropoint energy devices (aka and misnamed "cold fusion") teleportation devices, thermoptic camouflage (invisibility like in Ghost In The Shell), human cloning.. I am not even going to talk about time travel but it has been scientifically proven to be possible. https://www.google.ca/amp/s/futurism.com/new-research-shows-that-time-travel-is-mathematically-possible/amp/

And most of that tech research is being fed into their military/intelligence apparatus. US Military tech is estimated to be several decades in advance of civilian commercial tech.

@daniel yo u are right and there are some big companies in many different countries like : konami in japan , Kaspersky in Russia , i refer in my question to US bcz most of products (regardless of who are bihand them )are maded in US ( @dipayan also say the same thing ) and i think the common factor here that all of the respondents here refer to it is : the investments in Development and research .

May be your knowledge is restricted and also Indian technologies don't like to stay in india (unfortunate case). I think you have heard about Hotmail also. Please don't think that there are anything less happening in different parts of world. But the fact is they invest lots of money in R&D sector every year which may be greater than some of the countries whole year budget. Lastly people from all parts of the world goes to US and making it better.
