Must I complete html and html5 before moving on or can I skip html5 and come back

Html5 is used presently, in all new versions of browsers and by whole internet related stuffs (apps). So, it would be better if you complete html5 before moving forward.

Thanks buddy. it's just a bit confusing learning one thing then having to relearn it differently in HTML5. I wanted to become competent in HTML before moving into HTML5

Some of the html tags have been replaced with CSS now, so HTML5 is very important to learn before moving on. One of the tags that was replaced with css is align=center. Now you would use CSS .

I haven't done anything else yet, however I'm busy with html5 but went back to html and did it over to better understand it. Now I don't want to waste too much time on html and rather focus on html5 now
