What language needs to be learnt first before attempting python?

Python does not need any prerequisite, in the top universities of the world, Python is taught as the first programming language. So without thinking much get started with python.

thanks guys, I saw some description written that python has some things related with C , and that having some knowledge about C language makes everything easy in python.

Phyton is a good language for start learning. But if if you want other language, you can use Pascal. It's a old language, but very good to start learning.
