Why the language "JS" is not as used as the languages "Html " and "CSS"?

All of them are used at the same time. HTML - structure, CSS - decor, JS - behavior.

HTML and CSS are not any programming Language.
HTML is just markup( i.e tags to give meaning to text)and CSS are just list of properties and values .

whereas JavaScript is a high level scripting language that is interpreted by your browser or any other RUNTIME environment like nodejs
