I have been using it since kotlin 0.9 , nice but hard to setup lol , except you are using eclipse oxygen or intelijIdea where it comes pre installed or plugin installable

download intelijIdea platform , and use maven instead of graddle :)

If there was no Java, no kotlin would be created since it running on JVM :D

Fair point kotlin likely wouldn't exist if Java was never created​. I wonder would C# have been created?
