why doesnt this work?
name_gender_type = ['Female','female','Male','male']
if input()==(name_gender_type):
print ("hi")
else:
print ("ooh try again")
i cant get it to say hi, only ooh try again

Can anyone help me with this code??? It's a problem from code coach and I got 2/5 and I can't find why the other 3 were wrong.

So if "int" means integer, why does the program start in int main ()? What does the int before the main signify?
