I'm a complete newbie to programming, and I'm looking to know i there's any other thing, i need to learn before jumping into learning these programming languages, Like any mathematical topic, or sonething like this, some people told me that i should learn data structure and algorithms before getting started, please help and clarify,.

"Computer Science Distilled". search for it, read it, and everything will come clear. This book is a great journey on programking and math and algorithms. Just a masterpiece, trust me. I have recently rode it and had a little chat with the author, such a nice guy. If you want to be a very good programmer with strong background - then I can't tell you more than yous buying the book
