How can I promote my codes in order to make people to interact with my codes?

Question

I simply want to know that how do these "code playground stars" gets hundreds or even thousands of upvotes on their code. Is there any "programming language" factor which helps them to get votes or is there any or factor? Yes, I know the answer that to get votes your code must be good but I've solved many assignments, even my friends also, but we are unable to get that amount of votes as compared to them on the code playground. Does the number of followers you have really matters?, which help you to get there?
My programs and even the programs of my friends works pretty nice but....... Yes you know 😔
So,I want to know the answers of above asked questions.
