C++ as it is one of the most powerful languages I have ever used. Despite what some people say about it, it is also very intuitive.

well, for myself with a little knowledge of coding I prefer C++ it was the first language i learned.
I just Love it!

hey :) for me for example, python and ruby is better. coz coding there more comfortable. :)

C++ will remain my favorite programming language of all time. It is also the first programing i learned. It is immensely powerful in terms of what you can do with it. Then it support for generic programming through templates and STL, is simply mind boggling.

I understand it is not the programming language that fits all situations and yes it has learning curve but still it is very powerful programming language.

Just my experience, may be I am biased towards it.

Recently I read following statement on the net

"your first programming language will mutilate your mind beyond repair"

And couldn't agree more with it. Give a thought to it and you will realise it's quite true ;-)
