Hofstadter's Q-Sequence pro challenge -I need someone who solved it in Java!

Question

I cannot solve because the last two tests fail. I know it's matter of time, I wrote a recurring algorithm with memorization of past results but it's still slow. How can I fix it? Did someone of you solve it? It's the only I failed... :(
