What made you start programming?

Earlier I was a lot interested in astrophysics(As you can see in my profile photo) and quantum. Then somewhere I read that computer programs can be used to replicate particle decay and big bang. Then I thought I could know those things about universe and matter that no one knows by understanding what's happening inside the programs.

Actually someone know. they call themselves NASA. and they are very good at programming. But you are right. Computer program can make many simulation if you understand the physics and math behind it. I like a kid who has interest in science and technology (in this case programming). You should apply for a job at NASA when you grow up. Dream High, Kids !

Actually I didn't have any passion for programming before starting my BSc in Computer Science. In fact, I hated it so much for at least one year. I used to struggle a lot to explain myself to stupid computer and endless errors used to make me frustrated 😥. But gradually I've become kind of fond of it 😍

In short: needed a tool to complete my project. That's how it began.

I'm an economist... 2 years ago in my Global Strategic Management class, I was asked to come up with a business plan for a new mobile app. It was a profitable project so I wanted to bring it to life but I was unable to find Android/iOS developers who would like to partner with me and work on it, later another firm launched the same app idea, so I started learning programming not too long ago so I can develop my own current app ideas and future ones 😊 Btw, I've watched videos of astrophysics and quantum and it is an awesome field, it is already revolutionizing computer hardware and making it amazingly powerful. I hope you can discover new things about our Universe (or Multiverse?), I'd be very interested in your work 😉

3 years ago when I passed class 8 my brother gave me a book named "Let Us Learn C". I read that whole book but didn't find anything interesting. But after testing those examples in Visual Studio, I just fell in love with programming. I started learning more from Bucky Roberts (TheNewBoston), W3 Schools, MSDN etc. Now I am addicted to it. I cannot even pass a single day without programming. And my favorite programming language is C#.

First I didn't had any clear vision about what I should do in my life. Then one day I saw a video- "How to install Android 6.0" on YouTube. This was in 2015. Then I started seeking for & watch more Tech Tutorials. I started taking interest in Softwares. Then after a few months, I found SoloLearn. I thought that if I am interested in Softwares, why shouldn't I learn code my own. So you can say that this one video changed my life & I started coding. That's all.

@SenorGohan If someone enjoys programming rather than thinking it as a part of study then he is born to be a programmer. If you think it is important and you need to learn it in order to pass your examinations then I can not say that you will be a programmer. But if you enjoy programming and don't feel disturbed while programming then you will definitely be a programmer / developer. ;)

I played a little browser game and wanted to automate certain boring aspects of the gameplay. Yes, my first project came to life because 15 year old me wanted to cheat on a browser game. I'm not ashamed of it though. Learned a whole lot in the process.

I always had a passion of Computers. When I was 4 I was the best at a game called Need for Speed! Everyone knows it :)). Then when I was 12 I started designing games using Scratch. Also, my passion of videogames gave me a dream... I want to be a game developer and a designer... :)

I started when I heard about scratch.mit.edu when i was 8-9 years old. That got me interested in coding. Later I started using other programming languages, such as Python, which i'm using now.

It all began for me with a 0086 CPU with a 20 MB hard drive. And all I have access to for programming was Basic. But I wanted to know how computers worked. And how people made the programs that ran on them. FYI there was only DOS, no windows yet. Then a couple of years later on a 486 I found a game called Doom. And got to hang out with my friends cousin who was a programmer. He and his friends could alter the games code, and I thought it was the coolest!! And my love for coding grew as I did 😎👍
