I’m trying to create a simple code with a paragraph and a heading, but it is not working. What do I do?

Make sure you're using the html complier. You error code is showing .py, So you're in the wrong compiler.

The <p> is meant to come before the </p>. The </p> is the closer, while the <p> is the opener.
