https://www.HackerRank.com/ Free / timed / sponsored challenges, contests, and potential to get hired. Most subjects are covered, you can choose your language, as long as the output is correct. Quality may vary but there's a peer review system. You can also just read questions on the StackExchange network and try to answer people's real problems. A great way to learn that I know I of is by making your own simple console games and console apps .......you can even try making kivy/pygame/pyglet/OpenGL apps which is really hard......well harder than making console apps
