Question TO ALL Linux Users

Hello dear Sololearners! This is not question about Windows/Linux/Max OS. I just wanted to ask the community about their favorite Linux distribution. Which distribution do you use? Do you recommend it? Why do you recommend it? I found related questions: https://www.sololearn.com/Discuss/854880/which-linux-is-better https://www.sololearn.com/Discuss/761742/which-system-programming-share-your-opinion but I am not fully satisfied with answers. I used almost entire life Windows OS, and I am not good familiar with Linux distribution, and there is a lot of them!

I have tried Ubuntu and Kali Linux. Ubuntu is more user friendly. It has a lot of apps in store. And Kali comes with a lot of tools which I don't know how to use them. 😁😁😁

Daily home use, Mint. I recommend it strongly as it is very robust and ready out of the box. Tinkering, linux learning, Arch. You cant say that you know Linux if you never compiled your own Arch. For server, Debian, stable as rock, hard to break. Ubuntu for server is ok too, as it got a lot of good tools in repo but is less optimized imo.

Since half a year I use Linux Manjaro system. It is based on Arch operatin system. I really enjoy it, but I cannot recommend yet, since I have no comparison. However, It is really simple, and user-friendly.

My favorite over the years was Red Hat, but I haven't really used it in what feels like ages now. These days I'm mostly using Centos 7 because a lot of projects I work with use it on their servers.
