Python VS PHP

Some people say that PHP is declining and focus should be on Python. Tell me whether you agree or not?

Ive talked to multiple computer programmers, PHP is becoming out dated just like flash. People will always use Flash and PHP. At our school they are teaching Python, and at Red Rock Community College they switched from C++ to Python. It is honestly all based on what you want to do and what you already know. So I agree that the focus is should be on Python.

If u need money as soon as possible, just learn PHP + WordPress. It's the easy way but without professional growth. However Python more complicated and simultaneously one of the best choice as first programming language due to pep8, community and as foundation for learning other languages.

Of course not. Because those languages are using for difference purposes. PHP is using mainly as backend in webservers to creating dynamic web pages. So even if someone say that ,PHP is declining, the replacement must be the same way. Maybe HTML5, Ajax, some modern frameworks, or ASP.NET.
Python is scripting language for basic computations, so it';s replacement could be from those sort of programs..
