I think Swift is used in iOS apps and such, and ruby was supposed to be easy to learn and code with, but do not quote me on this, I might be wrong

@Ricardo you are not wrong. both Ruby and Swift are programming languages. As you have stated that Swift is used for iOS programs... Ruby on Rails being used for many purposes including web development just like many other programming languages.
