Is there anything in particular you'd like to code? If yes, then you should look up what programming language is best for that objective. If you don't have any specific objective, I'd recommend starting with Python to learn the basics of programming. It's syntax is very simple and it's easy to see your progress. You can learn the basics of Python here on SoloLearn. If later on you want to really get into programming, learn C. If you have solid knowledge of C then almost any other programming language will be easy to learn. C is hard to learn though, I wouldn't start with it. Good luck :)

Seeing you are indian ...get "computer science with python -sumita aroura" class 11 & 12 complete each chapter thoroughly doing programming exercises will take 2 months if you complete 1 chapter a day plus all exercises related to it also check cs50x Free Harvard course on edx: this teaches you to approach problems like an engineer but concentrate on the book never multitask Once done you are all set your learning curve will be expotential: get into reddit r/learnning do sololearn to learn syntaxes of other languages in a day or two then you can start working on a big project "replicate some software or something"

If you are on macOS, I would suggest Swift 3. It has a very simple syntax and object oriented mechanism. Plus, Xcode playgrounds is a terrific way to learn ! Otherwise, Python is a good start

Don't start here : you can't learn programming by Q&A. its like learning to paint by learning about strokes and colour you can come here when you have a good enough idea on a language and want to learn other ones using sololearn you can do it in a day or two
