Why do you wanna store the values in a string?? Store them in a variable.
Hence:
cin>>a>>b;, not cin>>"a">>"b;

And:
if (a>b){cout<<"you lose";}
not
if {a>b}<<cout<<"you lose";
That's how if-statements work
