The best tips to give a beginner?

I've started learning HTML and I really like it. I find it really easy and quite fun but I'm not so sure if I should start learning another language without fully completed HTML first. any suggestions?

Well, I think it's up to you. if you think you can handle it, then go for it. My advice would be to take it one by one and don't rush it. After you're done with one, keep practicing for a while until you're sure you got the hang of it before moving to the next.

there is a lot to look at in html5, but most of the fun part needs some javascript knowledge, like canvas, localstorage, geolocalisation etc

You don't need to complete it. Give Python a shot. Its a good foundation language.
