You can include instance variables in your JOptionPane object like:

import java.time.LocalDate;
import java.time.temporal.ChronoUnit;

LocalDate today = LocalDate.now();
LocalDate tomorrow = today.plus(1, ChronoUnit.DAYS);
LocalDate yesterday = tomorrow.minusDays(2);
