Why does using Shortcut on Sololearn give lesser XP??

Question

I was learning Java and after completing the course, i got over 300 XP.
I decided to reset and use the Shortcut options just to see how good i am only to be given 200 XP ..
I was thinking Shortcut generates higher XP than the normal procedures..

if you use the short cuts, you are cutting corners but you are not cutting monsters, so you get less exp
just grind better or buy lootbox for 5.99
